About Us

Aardvark was opened in 1986 with a goal to service the individual swimmer as well as teams with quality products in the Northern Virginia area.  We expanded to nationwide service with the addition of our mail order/internet division and can meet all of your swimming needs.


We are a company of experience.  Many of the staff are current or former swimmers, coaches and/or team representatives, all of who are experienced in the swimming world.  Aardvark carries many brands, including Speedo, Tyr, Nike and Dolfin.

Aardvark Swim & Sport designed the logos and printed the swim suits for Speedo and the USA Olympic team and Canadian Olympic Team in 1988 and 1992.  For the 1996 Atlanta Olympics we designed and printed the suits for the USA and Canadian swim and dive teams.  We again did the suits for the USA and Canada for the Olympics of 2000 in Sydney, Australia as well as the water polo suits and head gear and all triathlon gear for the USA team.  More recently, we did the 2005 World Championship team suits and t-shirts for USA Swimming and Speedo.

Included among some of Aardvark's close friends over the years are Janet Evans, Amy Van Dyken, Brooke Bennett, Summer Sanders, Jeff Rouse, Tom Dolan, Gary Hall and Ed Moses.
